Requirement Overview
The purpose of this role is to assist in the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence (BI) solutions. The role provides support to business stakeholders and BI specialists to gather requirements, design data models, and develop visualizations that provide actionable insights. The role contributes to the creation and optimization of BI tools, to ensure that the AGSA’s decision-making is informed by accurate, timely, and meaningful data.
Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Function
Participate in the implementation of the BSC initiatives within the BU.
Product Management
• Collaborate with business users to understand their data and reporting needs.
• Analyse and document business requirements for BI solutions.
• Assist with design and develop data models that support business reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in data models.
• Assist with Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Assist with monitoring and optimise ETL performance.
• Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Assist BI report developers to customise and enhance existing reports to meet evolving business needs.
• Work with database BI developers to optimize database performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and ensure data solutions align with organizational goals.
• Assist with provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and solutions.
• Assist with documenting data models, ETL processes, and report specifications.
• Assist with maintain documentation for future reference and team collaboration.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in BI and analytics.
Stakeholder Management
• Build strong professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful learning / working process.
• Liaise with relevant key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective coordination, communication and coverage of allocated work and internal issues.
• Work in collaboration with Data Owners and Stewards to ensure timeous delivery of the work.
People Management
• Manage own development and performance as per the generic competency plan, training plan and individual performance contract.
• Comply with the necessary training regulations, applicable policies and other training initiatives.
• Keep a portfolio of working and learning evidence throughout the process.
• Continuous coaching, mentoring, on the job training and assessment from allocated Team Leaders.
• Participate in the BUs transformation, culture, diversity and employment equity initiatives.
Financial Management
• Monitor and manage own productivity to ensure compliance with project and centre budget.
• Ensure compliance with AGSA policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures.
• Manage supply chain processes within scope of work.
Other responsibilities (Applicable to All JD’s)
• Perform and/or manage other projects, tasks and assignments delegated by the Senior Manager not stipulated in the role profile description as and when required.
Skills, Experience & Education
Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Data Analyst Associate (Power BI), and Azure Data Fundamentals as an added advantage.
Experience
No experience required, however exposure in the following areas would be an added advantage:
• Tools such as Power BI, or other data visualisation platforms.
• Data modelling and database design principles.
• SQL or similar query languages to extract and manipulate data.

Requirement Overview
Provide a sustainable working environment to the AGSA employees by planning, managing, coordinating and executing all Facilities Management related functions initiated by Auditor General of South Africa.
Roles & Responsibilities
Building management (repairs and maintenance)
• Carry out repairs and maintenance such as air-conditioning, furniture, doors, walls, ceiling, flooring, taps, ablution facilities, minor plumbing work, light bulb replacement, minor electrical repairs if certified, etc.
• Assist with physical move of furniture and other equipment.
• Inspect buildings to determine maintenance requirements and create correlating plans.
• Develop predictive and preventative maintenance plans and implement them to ensure decrease in repairs and breakdowns.
• Choose the right types of tools and equipment to assist in performing repair and maintenance work.
• Prioritize necessary repairs and improvements and ensure that sufficient staff is acquired to handle them.
• Create work schedules and ensure that they are properly carried out.
• Meet clients to assess their needs for maintenance and repairs.
• Ascertain that proper work safety initiatives are taken prior to and during each maintenance and repair procedure.
• Make recommendations for adjustments in building systems such as electrical, hydraulic and HVAC systems.
• Perform replacement and repair work according to the specific requirements of the project.
• Estimate costs involved in both maintenance and repair procedures and create and maintain effective liaison with vendors to ensure delivery of equipment and supplies on time.
• Take appropriate care of tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work by performing maintenance and cleaning duties.
• Maintain inventories of supplies and equipment and ensure that low inventory levels are communicated to the supervisor with related building maintenance and repairs.
• Attending ALL electrical related building matters.
• Supervision of contractors during projects and outsourced work.
• Assisting with air conditioning services and maintenance when required.
• Logging of all building related matters to the contractors for repairs.
• Ensure housekeeping and storeroom up keep.
• Managing of CRM calls.
• Perform tasks assigned through work order request as directed by the seniors.
• Assist the facilities team with stock deliveries (to carry boxes and other goods received).
Ensure that all products/services including corporate reports/messages adhere to the relevant quality standards as agreed with the line manager. Reports/messages may include but not limited to:
• Requisitions for tools and other items required.
• Clear records inventories in own area.
• Memos and other correspondence.
• Communication to stakeholders.
Compliance with deadlines
• Attend to requests timeously or within service levels.
• Adhere to all service levels and expectations.
• Timeous leave and timesheets completion and approval (including hospitality team when requested).
• Ensure quick turnaround time in resolving problems.
Impactful engagements with stakeholders
Ensure high quality, practical and cost effective stakeholder engagements as per centre's/BU's stakeholder engagement plan to ensure the centre delivers excellent service to the stakeholders
(Targeted number of engagements must be pre-defined). Interactions include but not limited to:
• Liaise with clients on all levels to determine their needs.
• Assess the impact of their requirements.
• Communicate to clients and keep them updated of progress.

Execute own deliverables economically, efficiently and effectively throughamongst other things:

Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications
• Matric
• NQF3 in Electrical, Mechanical engineering, Facilities management or equivalent.
• Electrical trades test certificate
Experience
• Minimum of two years’ experience in building maintenance (general repairs, plumbing, air-conditioning, electrical).
• OHS training certificate will be an added advantage
