- Initial setup of desktop computers with application software of the AGSA.
- Configure desktop computers on the AGSA network for email access and printing capabilities. Create images of different desktop platforms for ease of future installations (Windows, macOS, etc.).
- Maintain images of desktops with all updated AGSA software as and required.
Provide post-implementation support for desktop computers in response to Service Desk calls:
- Reinstallation of software on desktop computers
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults. Repairs where applicable
- Redirect calls to vendor according to contract SLA agreements
Notebook support
- Initial setup of notebook computers with application software of the AGSA.
- Setup of notebook computers on AGSA network for users to access AG’s network to be able to receive email and do printing.
- Create images of different notebook platforms for ease of future installations.
- Maintain images of notebook computers with all updated AGSA software as required.
- After implementation support of notebook computers according to Service Desk calls

Fault finding and fixing

- Development of value-add analytics:
- Provide support in developing leading and innovative solutions, tools and practices in data quality, analysis and visualisation.
- Support various products including the AGSA General and special Reports by extracting, manipulating, analysing and transforming structured and unstructured audit data using tools such as Excel, Power BI, MySQL, etc. there by providing meaningful insights from available data.
- Constantly monitor the integrity and quality of data and processes to identify deficiencies and facilitate improvement.
- In-depth analysis of the annual audit outcomes of the three spheres of government and provide support with the drafting of guidance on the general report (GR) content and compilation process.
- Preparing audit outcomes presentation slides for stakeholder briefings to public sector role-players and provide support to the preparers during the GR or special report (SR) compilation process.
- Perform verification of the accuracy, completeness and consistency of audit outcomes-related data included in the GRs and/or SRs.
