Job Description
Key Performance Outputs
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Specialist Technical Solutions and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
  • Develop and manage ACSA operations audit framework, standards and procedures, standards and/or specifications for audits (JIG, Operations, Maintenance Audit
  • Structure audit reports
  • Plan site specific audit process covering JIG, Operations and Maintenance audits in line with operator agreements
  • Generate easy to understand reports
  • Perform quality inspection on maintenance work done by fuel operators and their contractors and implement/propose remedial action where necessary
  • Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
  • Ensure compliance to JIG and other relevant standards and regulations at ACSA’s fuel farms
  • Identify and apply viable technology and strategies to improve equipment efficiencies and lifestyle costing.
  • Lead continuous improvement to various infrastructure in the department to increase compliance to JIG and other related standards
  • Keep current with latest equipment, technologies and maintenance methods to ensure best practice in aviation operations.
  • Review and support Business Development with the quality of online content (blogs, webinars, e- books, research reports, papers etc.
  • Interface with Integration Specialist and Technical Solution Specialists to manage quality standards of deliverables.
 
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:
  • Bachelor's Degree – Engineering Disciplines/Operations Management - Essential
  • Bachelor Honours Degree – Engineering Disciplines/Operations Management - Advantageous
  • Joint Inspection Group Inspector accredited - Advantageous
  • 5 Years Operational Experience – Aviation fuelling operations, maintenance fixed, mobile plant and Audit protocols for aviation into plane operations - Essential

Job Description
Charge Hand Building and Facilities Maintenance 
An exciting vacancy exists at Kimberley Airport for Charge Hand Building and Facilities Maintenance within the Operations Management division.
 
Key Performance Output
The successful candidate reporting to the Manager Maintenance will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise / co-ordinate team activities
  • Ensure contractors work in a safe manner.
  • Monitor service providers' daily activities according to Service Level Agreement (SLA) and report deviances
  • Ensure compliance to relevant statutory and legislative regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), operational standards, policies, and practices.
  • Mitigate risk to limit injuries.
  • Manage operational risks related to relevant area.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the environment and implement remedial action.
  • Respond to occurrences, incidents, and accidents in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules.
  • Carry out maintenance activities according to maintenance plan as well as ad-hoc activities.
  • Report on safety / risk / operational deviances.
  • Inspect and monitor infrastructure according to maintenance schedules.
  • Implement remedial actions where required.
 
Technical Skills and Experience
The challenges posed by this position require the successful candidate to have the following:
  • The successful candidate must have a valid Matric (Grade 12) qualification 
  • A minimum of 3 years’ operational experience in Maintenance is essential.
  • Supervisory experience will be advantageous.   
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Code B Driver’s license would be advantageous

Key performance output
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Operations Coordinator, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
  • Patrol Car Park areas in order to monitor functionality and cleanliness of car park equipment and report non-compliance.
  • Follow up on all reported non-compliance to ensure remedial action has been taken.
  • Notify relevant personnel in case of emergencies occurrences.
  • Participate in ad hoc services as and when required.
  • Ensure proper handover to next shift to limit disruptions.
  • Investigation of customer related queries and escalate as and when required.
  • Replenish change at pay stations as and when required.
  • Manage and reconcile the daily float.
