Job Description
Key Performance Outputs
The successful candidate, reporting to the Supervisor Passenger Services will be responsible for the following:
  • Proactively identifying, resolving and escalating customer’s needs as and when required.
  • Announcing flight information 
  • Provide support to relevant stakeholder to ensure achievement of objectives.
  • Participate in customer care projects and initiatives as and when required. 
  • Build, support and maintain healthy diverse internal and external relationships to ensure the achievement of organisational goals. 
  • Capture information for trending purposes.
  • Identify and escalate any system related errors. 
  • Escalate repeated Operational non-compliance.
 
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills & experience is required or equivalent of such is required:
  • The successful candidate must have a valid Matric (Grade 12) qualification or equivalent and experience, based on the job requirements, within the position. 
  • Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • A minimum of 1 year airport operation related experience would serve as an advantage.

Job Description
 
Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Supervisor Marshalling, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
  • Conduct pre-inspections of parking bays for safety compliance.
  • Determine serviceability of aircraft parking bay and request bay change when bay is unsafe for use/ unserviceable 
  • Notify pilot when chocks are in place.
  • Use clear, precise and approved hand signals during parking process.
  • Ensure that aircraft is parked in the correct position.
  • Program and monitor automated docking system during parking process.
  • Notify Operation centre of chock times for billing purposes.
  • Adhere to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures. Report non- compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  • Report Foreign Object Debris (FOD) to Operation Centre for clean-up.
  • Report fuel and oil spillages to Operation Centre for clean-up.
  • Report incidents and accidents to the Coordinator and Airside Safety for investigation and implement remedial actions where required.
  • Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals. Implement remedial actions where required.
 
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:
  • Matric is essential.
  • Valid code B driving license is essential.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.

Key Performance Output
The successful candidate, reporting to the Technician Electrical Maintenance will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
•    Ensure implementation of continuous improvement of the equipment/infrastructure. 
•    Consult and give support in commissioning and testing of assets. 
•    Conduct studies and make recommendations on upgrades/replacements of assets.
•    Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
•    Provide Input into allocated budget.
•    Execute safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities. 
•    Monitor quality of maintenance work and escalate inefficiencies.
•    Provide input into project design. 
•    Initiate purchase requisition.
•    Provide input into incident reports. 
•    Identify and report possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings.
•    Build, support and maintain healthy diverse internal (peers, unions, team) as well as external (service providers etc.) relationships and implement remedial actions where  required to ensure achievement of organizational goals.
•    Plan, schedule, supervise and coach subordinate activities within processes or services to achieve efficiency and quality goals. 
•    Assure stable employee relations by managing conflict and creating a positive working environment.
 
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 
  • National Certificate in Technical, Electrical, is Essential
  • Trade Test in Relevant Area is Essential.
  • Driver’s License Code EB is essential
  • 2 years Maintenance Operational experience is Essential.
  • 1-2 years supervisory Maintenance experience is Recommended.
