Key Performance Output 
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Operations Coordinator, and will be responsible but not limited to the following
  • Follow up on all reported non-compliance to ensure remedial action has been taken. 
  • Notify relevant personnel in case of emergencies occurrences. 
  • Participate in ad hoc services as and when required. 
  • Ensure proper handover to next shift to limit disruptions. 
  • Investigation of customer related queries and escalate as and when required. 
  • Replenish change at pay stations as and when required. 
  • Manage and reconcile the daily float. 
  • Assist customers with change when required. 
  • Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices. 
  • Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals. Implement remedial actions where required. 
 
Technical Skills and Experience 
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 
  • Grade 12 National Senior Certificate is essential.
  • 1 year Car Park Attendant operational experience is essential. 
  • Code B; Motor vehicle license. 
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Bachelors Degree (4years 480 credits) NQF Level 8 in B-Tech Engineering/BSC Mechanical is essential.

Job Description
An exciting vacancy exists at Cape Town International Airport for an experienced Tactical Response Unit Officer within the Enterprise Security and Compliance Division.
 
Key Performance Output
  • Conduct Incident management investigations
  • Handle incident and accident scene until the relevant agencies takeover
  • Handle incident and accident with relevant agencies
  • Investigate and report all Security incidents/deficiencies, non-conformances and complaints at high level and implement remedial action.
  • Timeously respond to all incident and accident
  • Adhere and comply to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and inspect registers where applicable.
  • Provide input into reviewing of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Report all incidents and accidents to the shift commander
  • Complete incident management register daily, weekly and monthly
  • Report infrastructural damages and compile a report
  • Report all illegal activities within your operational areas
  • Maintain sound internal and external stakeholder / customer relations whilst balancing enforcement with professionalism.
  • Respond to all emergencies in the prescribed manner
  • Identify operational risk and advise on mitigation measures
  • Stay abreast of global security threats and security technology advancements.
  • Implement contingency plans to mitigate identified security risks
 
Technical Skills and Experience
  • National Senior Certificate Grade 12 is essential
  • Higher Certificate SAQA accredited Policing Training is essential
  • Tactical / Armed Response 3 years operational experience is essential
  • National and International Security Aviation Regulations and Legislation
  • Pre-employment Requirements: PSIRA Grade C

Job Description
Key Performance Outputs
The successful candidate, reporting to the IMC Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
  • Monitor performance of contractors and service providers according to service level agreements
  • Close out all completed maintenance activities (including outage) and update the system accordingly.
  • Ensure system integrity and accuracy of information.
  • Coordinate the execution and follow through of unplanned emergencies until resolved and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Monitor progress to ensure on-time performance of unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Compile and submit shift reports.
  • Ensure that all affected stakeholders are up to date with the outage activities in their area.
  • Monitor the technical systems and handle faults and alarms accordingly.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are allocated with reference numbers for future progress tracking purposes.
  • Perform first line diagnostic or trouble shooting of technical faults in conjunction with technicians and operators.
  • Communicate unplanned maintenance and provide feedback to operations, engineering and airport users.
 
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:
  • The successful candidate must have a valid Matric (Grade 12) qualification
  • National certificate in Technical, Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance
  • A code 8 driver’s license with driving experience is essential.
  • 3 years’ technical operations experience is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • A trade test completion is recommended.
