Job Description
Key Performance Outputs
The successful candidate, reporting to the Manager Terminal Operations and will be responsible for the following:
- Facilitate and regulate capacity for each process and manage any pressure points in terms of passenger and aircraft flow
- Provide view and make recommendations in terms of impact and availability of infrastructure.
- Responsible for airport (terminal operations) capacity through coordinating infrastructure maintenance and development projects.
- Management of real time capacity for exceptional circumstances (events/weather related).
- Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP’s, operational standards and policies & practices.
- Ensure all resource allocation models are adhered to achieve the required service standards.
- Manage results of all surveys (ASQ, QMS, Compliance) and define corrective action where required.
- Monitor and manage process and system efficiency within airport operations (queuing and processing times) and recommend/implement remedial action where needed.
- Manage employee development initiatives.
- Stakeholder and Relationship Management.
- Oversee Terminal Operations.
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:
- The successful candidate must have a relevant 3 year’s bachelor’s degree.
- The candidate must possess 5 years of Operational experience in Airport Operations/ Operational Equivalent.
- Supervisory experience of 3 years is essential.
- 3 years of Airline Operations experience is recommended for this role.
- Intermediate Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications.

Job Description
Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Supervisor Fire and Rescue, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Maintain operational readiness of resources including vehicle, equipment and infrastructure to comply with Airport category.
- Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, ACSA policies and procedures, employee manual and Service Level Agreements/MOU to ensure business continuity.
- Activate and respond to all relevant incidents and accidents within area of jurisdiction, scope of training and expertise. Analyse, Monitor, identify, mitigate and report areas of non-compliance (HIRA).
- Conduct Runway, Taxi-way and Apron inspections and patrols to reduce potential hazards, notify ATC and take remedial action if necessary.
- Build, support and maintain healthy diverse internal (peers, unions, team) as well as external (service providers etc.) relationships and implement remedial actions where required to ensure achievement of organisational goals and enhance emergency response preparedness.
- Record and capture information for billing purposes. (Flight Information Display screens real-time).
- Participate in educational Fire and Safety awareness programmes.
- Maintain level of physical fitness as per ACSA policies and procedures.
- Attend mandatory Aviation training as per ACSA policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
- Perform the same duties and functions in line with the requirements for an Aircraft Marshaller
- Respond to all medical emergencies within area of jurisdiction and scope of training.

- A valid Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
- SAESI Fire Fighter 1 essential
- SAESI Hazmat Awareness and Operations is essential

Job Description
Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Assistant Manager Information Management and Billing, and will be responsible for managing airside resources and tracking all aircraft to ensure effective and efficient airport operations. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure that air traffic movement data which include aircraft landing, take-off and parking times are captured.
- Ensure that the flight information display system (FIDS) data are updated.
- Monitor and report all radio frequencies and escalate non-compliance.
- Coordinate estimated times of arrival/departure sourced from various aircraft operators.
- Conduct daily data validations and ensure alignment of movements on the verification dashboard.
- Ensure reconciliation of Air traffic and Navigation Service logs and Airport Management System movements.
- Ensure alignment of airline schedule against seasonal slots
- Review previous schedules and make recommendations as required.
- Ensure all movements are allocated in the Airport Management System.
- Monitor flight allocation schedules and non-scheduled operations.
- Sign-off of resource plan (parking bay list) for the purpose of all stakeholders.
- Contribute and influence to ensure punctuality targets are met.
- Coordinate capacity demand challenges based on resources availability, escalate as required.
- Coordinate notifications to marshalling department of inbound aircraft.
- Ensure that Automated Docking System (ADS) are managed in real-time.
- Liaise with Air traffic and Navigation Service (ANS) to manage calculated take-off time (CTOT).
- Ensure that flight information for boarding gate activation are updated.
- Managing the company’s risk exposure through identity, implement and maintain risk control measures to minimise the company’s liability.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate and supervise subordinate activities to ensure efficiency and achievement of goals
- Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals. Implement remedial actions where required.
- Communicate flight information to internal and external Stakeholders.
- Manage principles to ensure fair utilisation between airlines.
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience will be required:
- A Diploma in Logistics, Commercial or Operations is essential.
- 3 years operational experience in aeronautical documentation is essential.
- 1-year supervisory airport operations experience is essential.
- 2 years airport operational experience is recommended.
- Knowledge of Airport Operations and Aviation legislation.
- Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

- Manage assets replacement (with CAPEX permission) to ensure serviceability and compliance.
