An exciting vacancy exists at OR. Tambo International Airport for an experienced Assistant Manager Security Operations Coordination and Training within the Enterprise Security and Compliance Division.
 
Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to Senior Manager Airport Security, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
  • Develop Human Capital in line with relevant policies and procedures, including the Work Skills Plan.
  • Conducting research on prioritised technical areas in relation to security processes, systems and technology trends and advancements with a focus on addressing business objectives, applicable to ACSA’s environment and contributing to value creation and competitive advantage.
  • Drive programs to improve ASQ results and passenger satisfaction levels. Ensure all ASQ systems and programs are rolled out and executed on.
  • Manage relationships with AOC, AOA, ACOC and applicable governing bodies.
  • Perform trend analyses, compile and submit Security reports as per required timelines.
  • Ensure the continuous review of mandatory registrations to regulators of all security staff pertaining to NKP WAG1, SACAA Certification and Psira annual registration.
  • In terms of training Security Officers at the airport are required to comply with the following legislation:

  • Monitor functional contracts to ensure effective planning for their renewal through SCM processes.
  • Ensure that Corrective Action Plans are implemented.

  • Analyse data and draw reports from functional database and/or system to enable reporting of functional activities.
  • Build, support and maintain healthy internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organizational goals. Implement remedial action when required.
  • Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures.  Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
 
Technical Skills and Experience

  • A National Diploma NQF Level 6 in relevant field is essential.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree NQF Level 7 in Security/Law/Risk/Compliance is recommended.
  • 4 years operational experience in relevant field is essential.

  • Must have (SACAA) Basic Aviation Security (AVSEC) Certification.
  • PSIRA membership is recommended.

Key Performance Output
