Job Purpose
• To co-ordinate all approved learning programmes, reporting, and monitoring of implementation in the relevant provinces.
• Monitor implementation and act as first-line of assistance on issues relating to payments and document submissions.
 
Key Performance Areas - Functional outputs / actions
Project Coordination
• Support and co-ordinate the skills development programmes in Eastern Cape in partnership with government departments, commodity organisations and communities in land reform, rural development, and agriculture.
• Establish, participate in relevant skills development forums in the province that promotes support to rural agricultural structures through mentorship programmes.
• Co-ordinate applications from State departments in provinces for approval
• Assess readiness of projects, by support or assistance by AgriSETA.
• Participate in the evaluation of funding applications.
• Oversee the generation, distribution, and receiving approval letters and contracts.
• Communicate with stakeholders on application status.
• Monitor and implement approved mentorship projects and learning programmes in their provinces.
• Site verification and monitoring of all AgriSETA funded learning programmes and partnership initiatives.
• Prepare site monitoring to projects managers.
• Monitor the compliance to the project implementation plan.
• Respond to provincial enquiries with regards to skills development in the province
• Facilitate provincial strategic partnerships with public and private stakeholders.
• Identification of provincial, strategic projects and recommend AgriSETA participation.
• Conduct weekly site visits to provide ongoing support and ensure training is being executed.
 
Adhoc
• Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
 
Minimum Qualification and Experience
• Degree (NQF level 7) in Public Administration, Agriculture or Community Development.
• 5 years’ experience in administration and monitoring of learning programmes.
• At least two years’ experience in project management.
• Candidate must reside within the relevant province of application.

Division: Education and Training Quality Assurance
Office location: Head office, Pretoria-Arcadia
 
Job purpose: Assist in the administration of AgriSETA’s accreditation of Training Institutions
 
Role context
• The accreditation process requires organisation and a good understanding of the quality of delivery required from accredited service providers.
• Liaise with external and internal stakeholders.
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Functional outputs / Actions
 
Accreditation Management
• Liaises with key and relevant stakeholders.
• Responsible for the administration of accreditation process and records.
• Receive and record accreditation applications and documents.
• Review all new submissions relating to accreditation applications.
• Prepare documents for evaluation processes.
• Ensure all reports are in place before site visits.
Stakeholder Management
• Attend to Service Provider queries.
• Liaise with key and relevant stakeholders.
• Respond to client visits and/or other queries relating to accreditation and compliance issues.
• Promote the importance of accredited training to stakeholders and other structures.
• Advise stakeholders regarding the development of appropriate QMS and
Learning Material.
• Liaise with SETAs regarding programme approvals.
Site Visit
• Prepare and schedule site visits.
• Distribute documentation post accreditation site visits.
• Distribute evaluation reports to the Service Providers post accreditation site visits.
• Completes accreditation process by capturing accredited Service Providers on the system.
• Printing and distribution of accreditation letter/certificates.
Internal and External
• Internal Departments: All internal AgriSETA departments.
• External: AgriSETA stakeholders.
Ad Hoc
Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
 
Qualifications and experience
• National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Office Administration.
• 3 years related work experience in Office Administration with a minimum of one (1) year in Education and Training Quality Assurance.
• Valid South African driver’s license.
