- Manage the day-to-day functions of the admin and finance department.
- Manage, coach & mentoring of the accounting team members
- Maintain and develop internal control systems and procedures
- Provide support to operational management team when & where needed
- Various reporting responsibilities
- Finalising month-end accounts within required deadline
- Assist with overseeing the procurement department
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Calculate and submit VAT and income tax returns
- Major tasks include:
- Review of creditors reconciliations
- Review and release of EFT payments
- General Ledger reconciliations
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- B.Comm accounting degree or equivalent qualification
- 5-10 years’ experience
- Experience in accounting/financial system preferably Accpac
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills

Afrimat Mining Services Lyleveld Siding has a vacancy for a:
SUPERVISOR
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):
- Supervise and manage the performance of the Siding operators, equipment and processes according to the operating plans and procedures
- Supervise, coordinate, and motivate the Siding team in responsibility
- Good understanding Siding principles and planning
- Coordinate activities of third-party contractors to minimize disruption of Siding processes
- Ensure health and safety legislation and contractual obligations are adhered to
- Ensure complete confidentiality of all information pertaining to the business of the company
- Produce shift reports at the end of every shift
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Competent Person A
- NQF level 5 qualification, basic computer skills
- Valid Driver’s Licence. Solid knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act, including keeping up to date with any changes to the Act
- Experience supervising and managing operations activities and staff
- First Aid
- Flexibility to work outside of normal hours, during emergencies and planned overtime
- Good verbal and written communication skills

WATER TRUCK OPERATORS X2
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):
- Collect water as required
- Record all collections
- Fill tanks as required
- Dampen roads as directed
- Continually check the gauges of the Water Truck Machine during operation
- Operate the Machine within the manufacture’s specifications and in accordance with standards set during training
- Fill up with fuel as required
- Keep the Machine clean
- General work on site when required (none operating)
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Water Truck, code 14 license and PDP
- 3 years related working experience in the mining industry
- General mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
