HESSEQUA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY The Hessequa Municipality requires the services of a suitable person in the following permanent vacancy: COORDINATOR: COMMUNITY PROJECTS – RIVERSDALE (Ref: G073) T10 – R257 016.00 to R333 612.00 gross salary per annum
Requirements: A Relevant B Degree in Social Science • Computer literate • Valid Code B driver’s license • Able to communicate in two of the official languages of the Western Cape • Knowledge of Social and Community Development Programmes (which include the following fields: Persons with disabilities, Elderly, Gender Equality, Substance Dependence, Food Security, HIV/AIDS and Youth) • Three years’ experience in a similar position, will serve as recommendation. Duties: Compile, update and maintain a database • Plan, organize, monitor and evaluate meetings, events, programmes and projects • Organize and facilitate meetings • Evaluate the effectiveness of programmes and projects through qualitative and quantitative data • Do household visits • Provide support to the community • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders • Compile reports.
