Purpose of the job: undertake microbiology testing of water and wastewater samples in a Microbiology laboratory using the latest scientific technology and gathering data for validation of Microbiology methods. Ensuring compliance with Microbiological standards for testing. Updating Microbiology procedures and participation in proficiency testing. Qualifications and experience: ● ND in Biotechnology or BSc in Microbiology ● 3 years laboratory experience ●Experience of LIMS, ●computer literacy ● One year experience in a 17025 accredited and GLP environment will be an added advantage. As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
