FORT COX AGRICULTURE AND FORESTRY TRAINING INSTITUTE Fort Cox Agriculture and Forestry Training Institute seeks to employ dynamic and qualified persons for the following vacant positions: FORESTRY TECHNICIAN (PERMANENT) REF number: 01/008/2023 Salary: R359 517 per annum (SL 08) Requirements: Grade 12, 3 year Diploma in Forestry or equivalent, 2 year’s relevant practical experience, valid driver’s license code EB; Computer Skills; Technical Skills, Advanced Diploma and SAIF membership will be an added advantage. Key Performance Areas: Develop and implement forestry practical plan ● Responsible with the coordination of work-integrated learning placement and evaluation ● Liaise with forestry lecturers to assist with facilitation of course based practical ● Manage forestry equipment and tools inventory ● Liaise with forestry industry stakeholders to organize practical excursions ● Supervise work integrated learning (WIL) students ● Plan, develop and conduct practical assessment. RECEPTIONIST (PERMANENT) REF number: 01/05/2023 Salary: R202 233 per annum (SL 05) Requirements: Grade 12; ND in Office Administration will be an added advantage; Interpersonal skills; Training in Customer Care will be an added advantage and be fluent in English and Xhosa. Key Performance Areas: Taking and directing calls through switchboard; welcoming and directing visitors; maintain booking register for boardroom bookings; maintain front door security and reporting any suspicious activity/faults; operate an excellent and vibrant front office and be responsible for management of telephone system.
