SHORT TERM CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT - (STC)
 
The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Group Corporate and Shared Services Department has the following short-term contract opportunities for a period NOT exceeding twelve (12) months. 
 
The details are as follows: 
 
1. Department: Group Corporate and Shared Services 
BranchGroup Human Capital Management 
Designation: Officer Employment Equity and Diversity Management 
Salary Range: R22 215.52 pm (basic salary excluding benefits) 
 
 
Appointment Requirements: 
• Grade 12 / NQF level 4 with Diploma in Human Resources Management or any other relevant qualification (NQF level 6). 
• 1 – 3 years relevant experience in the Human Resources Management field. 
• Computer Literacy – Microsoft office Application and telephone etiquette. 
• Knowledge of Human Resource management concept and functions. 
• Knowledge of related policies and legislation governing the Human Resources Management functions 
 
Primary Function: Assist with the coordination, implementation and evaluation of employment Equity, Gender Mainstreaming, disability, and Diversity Management in the Core Administration of the City of Johannesburg (COJ as well as provide both administrative and technical support to enable department and consultative structures to comply with all Employment Equity and Diversity transformational requirements.
 


Key Performance Areas: Conduct data gathering ad preparation of quantitative and qualitative information for tabling at respective consultative forums, communication to departments and inclusion into Employment Equity and Diversity Management reports. Provide Employment Equity and Diversity management technical support to the City’s Talent Acquisition function. Assist with the coordination and implementation of Employment Equity and Diversity Management events and projects. Provide administrative support to the Employment Equity and Diversity Office and City-wide Consultative structure (i.e. Central Employment Equity Forum, and Gender Steering Committee) meetings. Perform all document processing and recordkeeping related activities. Assisting in the sourcing of Employment Equity and Diversity Management related services providers.
