Minimum Requirements: 
• Grade 12 plus Three-year National Diploma in Transport Management / Transport Economics (NQF level 6); 
• At least 1 – 3 years’ experience in an administrative role in the transport management environment;

Primary Function:

Primary Function:

• Monitor and control of the annual legal budget to ensure that the Directorate and sub-directorate manages costs effectively within the approved budget.

• To ensure the amendments schemes, consent uses, subdivisions, consolidations, street, park closures, premier consent, lifting of restrictive deed conditions, amendments of general township plans, extension of township boundaries and township establishments. 
• To assist in the development and implementation of contract management framework for the City. 
• Oversee contracts entered into by and between the City/Municipal Entities and third parties are administered and monitored. 
• Ensure legal support and assistance to Supply Chain Management Department and other departments in procurement related matters. 
• Manage and directs the implementation of decision of Council, Mayoral Committee, other committees of council and departments requiring agreements with external parties. 
• To provide general legal advisory services to Political leaders, Heads of Departments, Committees or any meeting where legal advisory service is required. 
• To ensure that the Directorate and sub-directorate provide an all-inclusive legal advisory service and perform other duties assigned as required within the Group Legal and Contracts Department.

Minimum Requirements: 
• Grade 12 
• Degree in Environmental Health or Safety Management or Occupational Health and Safety or an Engineering qualification with exposure in SHE environment (NQF level 7). 
• Advanced Certificate in SAMTRAC. 
• Certificate in Basic Measuring Techniques in Occupational Hygiene will be an added advantage. 
• 5 years experience in the working environment with exposure to all basic Occupational Health, Safety, Environment control, training and management. 
• 6 – 8 years experience in a supervisory level at a government of private sector working environment with exposure to all basic disciplines of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental control. 
 
Primary Function:
Lead the Compliance and Evaluation of all SHE programmes process that will minimize injuries and disease and mitigate risks to the health and safety of employees and community that are utilizing CoJ premises, while ensuring full compliance to the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (85/1993) and other applicable statutes and the provision of the CoJ Group SHE policy.

• Oversee and monitor implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety programmes within the City of Johannesburg.
