Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced individuals for the Pretoria-based position of: Commercialisation Manager – Sanitation Unit (Ref: CM) (2 Years and 11 Months Contract)
Applicants must be in possession of a relevant Honours Degree / RPL Accredited Certification at NQF level 8. 35 years relevant experience is necessary whilst experience in a industrialization and the manufacturing environment will be advantageous. The successful candidate must have sound knowledge of relationship management, Intellectual Property, industrialization and commercialization practices. A technical background would be highly advantageous to provide decisions on technology viability for South Africa's operating environment The Commercialisation Manager will be responsible for initiating and overseeing all intellectual property and commercial programmes within the Sanitation Unit. This will include initiating, facilitating and coordinating business development opportunities as well as providing intellectual property advisory services to the Sanitation Unit. He/she will be responsible for preparing value propositions, business cases and proposals in respect of Sanitation opportunities. In addition he/she will be responsible for co-ordinating relevant industrialization partners in South Africa and globally.
