INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY DIVISION: Faculty of Human Sciences DEPARTMENT: Legal Sciences POST: Lecturer- Law POST Nº: 0095 PEROMNES GRADE: 08 JOB DESCRIPTION: Key performance areas include but are not limited to: • Teaching and coordinating subjects as delegated by the head of department. • Providing academic support to learners. • Participating in national and/or international conferences and producing accredited research outputs. • Participating in departmental community engagement flagship projects. • Participating in subject advisory committee meetings. • Liaising with industry and other stakeholders to improve the quality and standard of services delivered and keeping abreast of developments in the legal field. • Compiling and offering relevant short courses. • Developing new Law qualifications. APPLICATION CRITERIA: Qualification and Experience: • A completed LLB Degree. • A minimum of 2 (two) years teaching at tertiary level, or industrial/practise experience. • Admittance as an attorney or advocate will be an added advantage. • Relevant research experience will be an added advantage. • A recognised, appropriate teaching qualification will be an added advantage. Skills and Competencies: • Excellent communication and presentation skills, excellent teaching skills, planning and organising skills, conceptual skills, analytical ability, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills and computer literacy. INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY DIVISION: IT Services DEPARTMENT: IT Services POST: System Analyst POST Nº: 3020 PEROMNES GRADE: 08 JOB DESCRIPTION: Key performance areas include but are not limited to: • Upgrade/patch OS through an approved management system(s), • Implement modern device services, • Install, Configure, Repair, Maintain and support IT equipment (Computers and phones), • Basic to medium knowledge of Network infrastructure and support as per VUT standards, • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain both Local Area Networks and Wireless Networks, • Discuss new systems that can improve overall performance as a • Department, • Benchmark with other organisations to establish a level of service offered, and • Suggest improvements for systems and processes. APPLICATION CRITERIA: Qualification/Experience: • 3 Year IT or related Degree, • Administering SCCM & Intune(recommended), • CompTIA A+, Network +, Security +(recommended), • MCSE Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (advantage), • ITIL Foundation (advantage), • 4-5 years of Desktop support experience, • 1 Year System Administration.
