LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS) ADMINISTRATOR P8 MBOMBELA CAMPUS The primary purpose of the role is to ensure proper management of the courses and user accounts on the Moodle Learning Management system. Liaise with the academics and academic administration division to identify and release the latest course material to students timely, and to assist in the management of assignments and examinations. The planning and preparations of Moodle courses for the new academic year and semester. Provide Moodle technical support as escalated by the Service Desk to resolve the Moodle technical issues. Provide training to students and staff regularly. The LMS Administrator partners with other administrators and development team resources on projects such as product and infrastructure upgrades. The LMS Administrator will be expected to work with other IT areas and/or third-party services to maintain a secure, highly-available and fault-tolerant LMS environment.
