S/he will serve as a member of the School Management Committee. S/he will be responsible for providing academic leadership in civic engagement and forging partnerships with industry, governments, civic organisations, and research/academic organisations nationally and internationally. Evidence of involvement in Community-engaged and community-based research and experience and involvement in public-funded research is required. S/he will be actively involved in practice-based learning, scholarship of engagement, and community outreach activities. S/he will be responsible for the administrative processes relating to the portfolio as set out in the job profile and will liaise with the College Deans of Research and Teaching/Learning on matters of common interest. The incumbent will report to the Dean and Head of School. The prospective applicants should provide motivation for how they are suited for the post advertised. Minimum Requirements: • Doctoral degree at the level of Senior Lecturer or above. • Performing at, or above, the norm of expectation at the level of appointment. • Good track record of administrative, communication, and time management skills. • Experience of three years and above in public and civic engagement relevant to the position. • Experience in developing and managing academic programmes and community projects.
