Drives the implementation of marketing strategy and tactics in order to reach set targets. Develops marketing campaigns and drives integrated marketing and communications campaigns (Above The Line, BTL and Online). Compiles marketing plans, Conducts post-campaign analysis. Manages digital destination marketing activities and platforms. Establishes working platforms such as status meetings and forums to ensure alignment of integrated marketing efforts. Engages in environmental scanning in terms of industry, market and global trends. Keeps abreast with local and foreign local agencies, regulatory and constitutional issues affecting the business. Manages creative outputs to support destination marketing and corporate marketing. Manages the function of the destination brand. Conceptualises digital and or/tactile events as part of marketing strategy. Manages the function of marketing events. Ensures participation at respective trade shows and conferences. Briefs exhibition team on exhibition requirements and schedules. Monitors and measures successes of events and execute any other duties as may be required.
MARKETING COORDINATOR (R 521 850.00 All-inclusive salary Package) (Ref: TEDA071/2020) Competencies and Qualifications Minimum Qualification, Diploma/Degree in Marketing (NQF 6). 3 years’ experience in a marketing environment with 2 years specifically on digital and social media marketing. The incumbent must possess extensive knowledge of creative thinker, team player, digitally savvy, good communication, presentation skills, consultation and collaboration, analytical thinking, monitoring, meticulous reporting. Valid Driver’s license. Key responsibilities The incumbent will report to the Manager: Marketing Services and will be responsible to support the implementation of the marketing strategy for the Tshwane destination brand and TEDA corporate brand. Support the marketing of the City of Tshwane as a capable investment destination and will be primarily responsible for the daily monitoring and implementation of digital/social media strategy. Assisting team members with day to day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested. Setting up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities. Supporting the in-house marketing and design team by coordinating and collating content. Supporting the implementation of organisational events, media monitoring and reporting. Assisting with the production of artwork, sourcing images, print buying and checking copy. Produce clear and concise written correspondence in the form of letters and emails. Provides feedback to relevant stakeholders. Manages relations with all marketing stakeholders, relationships in accordance with policies and procedures and legal requirements. Ensures compliance to the corporate identity, development of reports, ensure clear and concise reports and memorandum. Track budget, manage the submission of quotations and invoices. Assist the Business Unit with ad-hoc tasks. GRAPHIC DESIGNER (R 676 275.00 All-inclusive salary Package) (Ref: TEDA072/2020) Competencies and Qualifications Minimum Qualification: Equivalent qualification NQF 6, five (5) years of proven graphic designing experience. The incumbent must be creative, adaptable to trends and conceptualise original ideas, excellent communicator and team player, adaptability and attention to detail, multi-tasker, a keen eye for aesthetics and detail, problem-solver and have an active interest in art/design and passionate about the work they deliver. A valid driver’s licence. Key Responsibilities The incumbent will report to the Senior Manager: Marketing Services and will be charged with the responsibility to study and manage design briefs and determine requirements. Schedule projects, conceptualize and implement visuals based on requirements. Support units in the design of internal and external presentations, design of internal reporting dashboards and design of editorials. Design effective digital media assets for campaigns, design effective print and outdoor marketing assets. Provide creative support and collaborating for TEDA activities including design of event collateral and champion brand identity guidelines. Keeping budget, time and production constraints in mind, source and manage stock imagery and footage. Manage TEDA’s graphic support and stock accounts, the storage of all creative collateral. Manage external briefs, working and collaborating with art directors, copywriters, photographers and other designers. Oversee the adapting and rolling out approved concepts to various media, above and below the line. Monitor the adhering to TEDAs brand identity and guidelines. Execute any other duties as may be required.
