Provide legal advice to TEDA and its business units through consultation with various stakeholders. Prevention and management of litigations, Manage all TEDA agreements by overseeing the drafting and vetting of agreements. The incumbent to disseminate strategic, functional and operational litigation information on the immediate, short- and long-term objectives, current constraints. Provide a legal information service to TEDA and its business units. Co-ordinate legal activities and procedures associated with direct management and monitoring of personnel and services. Plan and manage utilisation of financial resources within the Section. Perform human resources management and related administrative activities. Communicate with various stakeholders with regards to legislation and TEDA policies.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (R 367 425.00 - All-Inclusive Salary Package) (Ref: TEDA069/2020) Competencies and Qualifications: Minimum Matric Qualification. Advanced certificate in Administration (NQF 5) would be ideal. Two-three (2-3) years' experience in an administrative role. Advanced knowledge of filing systems, Microsoft Office and Outlook. The incumbent should have in depth experience in planning and prioritising, communication, results and quality focus, initiative, adaptability, judgement and decision-making, analytical thinking, interpersonal sensitivity, knowledge sharing, conceptual thinking, information extraction and application, information seeking, compliance management. Key Responsibilities: The incumbent will report to the Company Secretary and will be a point of entry for the division. Register all documentation in internal register book. Electronically distribute documentation to relevant parties. Maintain an updated electronic and hard copy filing system. Assist in resolving any administrative problems and compliance matters. Prepare documentation including correspondence, reports, drafts, memorandums, e-mails and board packs. Take minutes at meetings when required. Compile monthly meeting registers for board payments and forwards to Finance for verification and approval. Make travel arrangements for the Business Unit. Arrange meetings for the Company Secretary. Arrange catering for meetings. Procure a, stationery for the Business Unit. Ensure that office equipment is properly maintained. Closing date: 03 July 2020 @ 16h00.
