COORDINATOR: MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS AND EVENTS (GAUTENG) Reference Number: TA-24 Description KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Provide Support to Stakeholders Take responsibility for stakeholder queries and facilitate responses within prescribed timelines; Provide marketing and communications support to all chambers and units. Administrative Support Oversee the allocation of resources for TETA events or activations; Supervise travel allocations and personnel in line with TETA travel policies; Coordinate travel arrangements and related logistics for the division and cross functional units supporting career development services and marketing events; Coordinate meetings in the sub-unit and take minutes; Initiate motivations and upload procurement requests on the RFP system. Marketing and Communications Coordination Coordinate all internal communications; Source and write stories for the newsletter quarterly; Oversee the management of promotional items, corporate gifts and sundry in the TETA store-rooms; Oversee and coordinate use of all marketing collaterals and branding materials by staff and stake-holders. Coordinate Events Publish an events calendar schedule for all TETA events and marketing communications; Oversee and ensure brand presence at all TETA events; Conceptualise, plan and execute all internal and external events with key focus on nationally and internationally recognised days; Conceptualise, plan, execute and administer all career development services and activities according to the career Exhibition rollout plan and APP; Coordinate the Annual General Meeting; Provide events support to all chambers and units. Corporate Communication Manage the image, perception, and reputation of TETA through consistent brand application; Apply brand guidelines and ensure consistent adherence to the guidelines for all marketing materials and activities. Management Responsibility Supervise the work of the cross functional teams in the execution of TETA marketing events. Reporting Prepare and submit monthly reports to line manager for all marketing communications activities and events; Prepare and submit quarterly reports as required in compliance with organisational reporting; Submit analysis report of all events undertaken including career development initiatives; Coordinate inventory reporting and prepare motivations to replenish marketing, branding and pro-motional materials; Submit analysis digital communication reports. Documents Management Ensure document management protocols and archiving procedures and policies are upheld; Filling of documents (electronic and manual). Strategic Planning Review strategic plan and annual performance for any updates on the Marketing and Communications indicators and submit review to line manager. Digital Communication Platforms Provide overall management, support and troubleshooting for all TETA digital communication platforms including the Career Portals and career development services platforms supporting TETA Mandate; Search Engine Optimization implementation on all TETA digital access points to maximise usage and uptake. Financial Management Prepare overall budgets for all internal events and submit to the line manager; Prepare APP budgets inputs for all indicators related to career development services. Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Experience and Qualification • M+3 qualification in Marketing, Public Relations or relevant qualification; • Minimum 4 years of experience in a marketing, public relations and or events management environment of which minimum of 3 years should be directly linked to marketing communication events coordination or administrator; • Photography and videography background will be an advantage; • Drivers Licence code 08 or 10, long hours, travel throughout the country.
