TRADE & INVESTMENT KWAZULU-NATAL (TIKZN) Business Unit: Office of the CEO Job Title: Executive PA to the CEO Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
KEY ACTIVITIES • Setting up appointments for and with the CEO. • Screen people who wish to meet with the CEO and establish the purpose of the meeting. • Ensure the CEO attends or is available for meetings. • Update the CEO schedule and arrange and priorities the events. • Ensuring accuracy in the diary entries and that the diary is up to date. • Setting up and co-ordination of meetings both locally and internally. • Make necessary arrangements with the Travel Agent for flights, accommodation and car hire for both National and International missions. • Provide secretariat services at all key meetings, Technical Assistance Fund, BEE Financial Assistance staff meetings, Exco meetings and MANCO meetings. JOB SPECIFICATION Educational and / or Technical Competencies: Matric Certificate Secretarial diploma or equivalent thereof from an accredited institution. Computer Literacy Experience: Five years’ experience as a Personal Assistant within an executive environment, both at the Private and Public sector.
