STELLENBOSCH LOCAL MUNICIPALITY SENIOR HERITAGE PLANNER HERITAGE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PLANNING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PED/DP/HRS/01 The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager: Development Planning
● The ability to oversee and provide direction to a heritage unit and maintain effective levels of operation ● Have the ability to oversee and assist with the development of a competent unit and municipal structure that will have the ability to achieve the devolution of provincial heritage competency ● Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint) ● Ability to work independently and develop good interpersonal relations ● Ability to manage diverse clients / situations ● Reliability and punctuality. ● Must be prepared to work under pressure and work long hours ● A valid Code B driver’s licence ● Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
