MODERATOR FOR THE EXTERNAL INTEGRATED SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT (EISA) FOR PHARMACIST'S ASSISTANT (BASIC), PHARMACIST'S ASSISTANT (POST-BASIC) AND PHARMACY TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATION REMUNERATION PACKAGE: The moderator will be reimbursed for moderating the paper and the examination results on a prorated basis REQUIREMENTS: (a) A minimum qualification of a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree or equivalent and registration with SAPC as a practising pharmacist; (b) A minimumof three years’ academic experience and a relevant post-graduate qualification; (c) Must be a registered assessor with the SAPC; and (d) May not be involved in the training of Pharmacist’s Assistant (Basic), Pharmacist’s Assistant (Post-Basic) and Pharmacy Technician learners for the Occupational Certificate Qualification. RESPONSIBILITIES: (a) Moderate the External Integrated Summative Assessment questions for correctness and fairness for the Pharmacist’s Assistant (Basic), Pharmacist’s Assistant (Post-Basic) and Pharmacy Technician qualification. (b) Ensure that questions set by examiners are appropriate in terms of the required content. (c) Facilitate External Integrated Summative Assessment workshops. (d) Attend to all matters relating to moderation of the External Integrated Summative Assessment, including analysis of assessment results and reporting thereof.
