SOUTH AFRICAN PHARMACY COUNCIL (SAPC)
APPLICATIONS AND/ OR NOMINATIONS TO SERVE ON THE AUDIT AND RISK COMMITTEE (4X INDEPENDENT MEMBERS) The South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) invites applications from suitably qualified persons to serve on its Audit and Risk Committee established in terms of Section 4(o) of the Pharmacy Act, 53 of 1974, to assist the council (board) in fulfilling its oversight responsibility relating to internal financial controls, reporting, corporate and information technology governance, and risk management. Applicants should ideally be qualified, have Audit and Risk Committee experience and practical understanding of any of the following:
Duration of membership and remuneration Members of the committee shall be appointed for a 3-year term of office at a time, subject to renewal for one additional term. The committee meets at least three (3) times a year; virtually or at SAPC offices. Members are remunerated in line with National Treasury rates for non-official members, including travel and accommodation disbursements.
