SOUTH AFRICAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION (SABC) POSITION: MANAGER: OPERATIONS DIVISION: LOGISTICAL SERVICES REPORTLINE: MANAGER BUILDING TECHNOLOGY POSITION ID: 60003159 SCALE CODE: 300 MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION To manage the operations section of building technology inclusive of the Operations Centre team; with associated Building Management Systems and all associated hardware and software.
• Implement effective workflow processes
• Overtime and shift work administration • Manage Staff • Manage and complete PDP Documents and ensure training happens. • Monitor internal and external training for staff • Time management and Leave approvals for Staff • Keep up to date with new products and technology that will improve working methods that will add value by improving quality and reducing cost. • Manage commitment to customer service. • Manage Performance of staff QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE • A National Diploma in Property Management or Facilities Management, (a Degree will be an added advantage). • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Property Management. • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in building management systems, (BMS) and controls monitoring; • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management or a supervisory role; • Experience as a Safety Officer, Fire Marshal or First Aider; • Excellent computer literacy; • Communication Skills KNOWLEDGE • Occupational Health & Safety • Financial management • Management information systems • Contract Management • HR Business Processes and Systems understanding. • Technology related Systems • People Management • Customer relationship management Closing Date: 03 February 2020 We are committed to Employment Equity when recruiting internally and externally.
