SAFETY AND SECURITY, SECTOR EDUCATION & TRAINING AUTHORITY (SASSETA) 
 
Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) is a public entity, established in terms of Section 9(1) of the Skills Development Act of 1998, as amended

The following fixed-term contract position expiring on 31 March 2030 exists in the organization:
 
HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) ADMINISTRATOR
All-inclusive Annual Remuneration Package (TCTC):  R352 306.00
 
Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for:

• providing payroll administration support;
• providing leave administration support;
• rendering secretarial services to HR Committees;
• providing administration support in the management of employee benefits (funeral, medical aid, legislated benefits, etc.);
• providing employee wellness administration support;
• managing the HR correspondence register;
• processing invoices for HR Department Service providers;
• proper filing of HR records (physically and electronically); and
• performing any other duty(ies) that may be delegated by the Manager from time to time.

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of Grade 12 is required.
• A minimum of NQF Level 5 qualification in Human Resources is required.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in performing general human resources duties is required.
• A minimum of 2 years’ payroll experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in coordinating meetings, including taking minutes is required.
• Must have a knowledge of Human Resources Information (HRI) Systems.
• Must have an understanding of SA Labour Legislation.
• Must be computer literate at an intermediate level.
