SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER X1 (PERMANENT), HEAD OFFICE OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the demand and acquisition of all products and services as well as coordinating and controlling the logistics related to the distribution of all stock/products. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring SCM compliance to Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and National Treasury regulations, stakeholder reporting and implementation of the SCM policy framework. STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT OFFICER X1 (PERMANENT), HEAD OFFICE OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY The Stakeholder Relations and Engagement Officer has to maintain stakeholder mapping. The incumbent in this role will be required to manage the actions of the stakeholder engagement coordinators, giving them direction and oversight so that deadlines and PPRA standards are met. SENIOR ACCOUNTANT X1 (PERMANENT), HEAD OFFICE OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY The Senior Accountant is responsible for the implementation of financial accounting policies, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting up to the level of income statement and balance sheet in order to obtain unqualified audits. REQUIREMENTS • A Bachelor’s degree, Advanced Diploma in Accounting/ management Accounting or equivalent • 4 – 6 years’ experience in similar environment (of which 3 years at a supervisory level) • A working knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing the Property Practitioners • Knowledge of current trends, research methods and practice • Good background knowledge and understanding of government policy and legal compliance issues in the public sector • Exceptional Financial Knowledge and Sound understanding of investment models and available portfolios • Policies and procedures of the fidelity fund, Sound understanding of the industry and business environment • Legislation applicable to PPRA (PFMA, GAAP, KING IV, TAX, GAAP & GRAP, IFRS). • Sound knowledge of Caseware, SAP and MS packages KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Support and advise the Unit Manager in the implementation of budget planning, monitoring and reporting mechanisms • Oversee the management of general ledger and journals • Financial Reporting and prepare financial statement for PPRA entities • Developed and implemented Accounts Payable and system and framework (Creditors) • Develop and implement Payroll system • Manage operational risks and financial controls for entity • Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by line manager • Comply to the budget timetable and maintain budgeting system • Analyze records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses • To manage and follow up on queries that customers may have • Value adding relationships built with stakeholders • To ensure that all the PPRA financial policies. CLERK — INVESTIGATIONS MEDIATION ADJUDICATION X1 (PERMANENT), HEAD OFFICE OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY The Clerk: Investigations Mediation Adjudication is responsible for providing administrative support to the Investigations Mediation Adjudication department. The Clerk: Investigations Mediation Adjudication is responsible for administering the receipt and processing of all complaints and allocating the complaints or cases to the Secretary: Investigations Mediations Adjudication. The incumbent in this role assists the secretary with the preparations of documents to be considered by the Adjudications Appeal Committee as required by Investigations Mediation Adjudication Manager. FFC RENEWAL OFFICER X6 (PERMANENT), HEAD OFFICE OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY FFC Renewals is responsible for the provision of the effective, efficient, and accurate administration of FFC renewal processes. COMMITTEE SECRETARY X1 (PERMANENT), HEAD OFFICE OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY The Committee Secretary is responsible for ensuring and managing corporate governance within the Committees and PPRA in accordance with legislative prescribes and best practice. The incumbent in this role proactively manages the required stakeholder relations in order to ensure the effective functioning of the PPRA Board of Directors and its sub-committees. REQUIREMENTS • A Bachelor degree in Law or equivalent NQF 7 level/ degree in Business Administration or equivalent • 4–5 years’ experience in similar environment • A working knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing the Property Practitioners • Exceptional understanding of corporate governance frameworks, (e.g. King Report IV, extensive knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, National Treasury Regulations, Shareholders Compact, Companies Act) • Report on Corporate Governance in South Africa, 2002 and the Protocol on Corporate Governance in the Public Sector, 2002) • Expertise to translate the governance requirements on the Annual Performance Plan and Strategic Plan to achievable goals • Good understanding of the Government structures and the relationships between Government (as a Shareholder) and the public entities • Understanding of PPRA policies and procedures • Communication, Interpersonal and Organising skills • Working Knowledge of Legislation applicable to PPRA • Legislative and Statutory expertise KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct project administration, record keeping and produce project related reports • Communicate an annual schedule for all Internal Committee meetings aligned to all compliance imperatives • Record minutes of meetings and prepare minutes for review by the Company Secretary • Liaise with management to source information and / or action items to ensure sound information flow within the Sub Committees • Ensure that minutes and agendas are distributed to recipients within set time requirements • Quality assure the content of agendas, minutes of meetings and meeting packs to ensure accuracy and adherence to all set standards • Ensure that meetings are in compliance with statutory governance and procedural requirements as set out in the different charters and mandates • Record meeting resolutions in the Committee Resolutions register timeously and accurately • To assist with the management of corporate governance issues REMUNERATION: R 580,120 ctc per annum TERM OF APPOINTMENT: Permanent HOW TO APPLY: • Applications must be submitted in writing and must contain the following: detailed CV, motivation for appointment, • Preference will be given to candidates whose appointment will enhance representivity. • Applications received after the closing date will not be considered. ACCOUNTS OFFICER X2 (PERMANENT), HEAD OFFICE OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY The Accounts Officer is responsible for providing administrative support by accepting and recording all the payments made in cash or by check to PPRA (recoveries, fines, interest, registration fees, etc.), issuing receipts for payments received, and following up on inquiries to ensure the accurate and thorough processing of financial transactions and the correct allocation of all money received in order to maintain accurate debtors accounts. REQUIREMENTS • National Diploma in Accounting/ Finance NQF 6 or equivalent • 2– 3 years’ experience in similar environment • A working knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing the Property Practitioners • A proven track record of customer service delivery, pro-activeness and the ability to integrate the operational requirements in Finance service delivery • Exceptional Financial Knowledge and Sound understanding of investment models and available portfolios • Good background knowledge and understanding of government policy and legal compliance issues in the public sector • Policies and procedures of the fidelity fund, Sound understanding of the industry and business environment • Legislation applicable to PPRA (PFMA, GAAP, KING IV, TAX, GAAP & GRAP, IFRS) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • To assist with ensuring that all the transactions from the bank statement are captured accurately and completely • To assist with ensuring bank statement transactions are allocated to the correct debtors accounts • To assist with following up on unallocated/misallocated transactions and ensuring that the funds received is captured correctly to the debtors accounts • Reconciliation is performed between the invoices generated and the bank statement • Debtors Reconciliations are performed daily • Clearing of debtors account with credit balance and reconciling the accounts • Ensure the completeness tests on allocated revenue accounts are performed by the 10th of each month • Ensure reconciliations are performed on all allocated general ledger accounts by the 10th of each month • All queries are resolved in a professional and competent manner within 48hours • Incomplete documentation received is referred back to the customer for finalisation within 48 hours • All documentation is accounted for and filed accurately • Documentation is kept in a safe place and is accessible to departmental staff • Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by line manager • To perform the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions REMUNERATION: R 280,140 ctc per annum TERM OF APPOINTMENT: Permanent HOW TO APPLY: • Applications must be submitted in writing and must contain the following: detailed CV, motivation for appointment, • Preference will be given to candidates whose appointment will enhance representivity. • Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
