ASSET MANAGEMENT OFFICER Salary: R 457 091 basic salary p/a plus benefits (Centurion) Requirements: National Diploma or Degree in Financial Management or Accounting or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification. Coupled with a minimum of 3 years practical experience in financial assets management environment. An ideal candidate must have extensive financial management background and knowledge of PFMA and Accounting Standards relating to assets. Possession of a valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage. Recognition of Prior Leaning (RPL) and applicable knowledge and experience on the Job may be considered during the selection process. Essential criteria: Envisaged candidate should be able to display a great deal of knowledge in terms of accounting and asset management ● administrative processes ● knowledge of computer packages amongst other Sage Evolution ● Fixed assets and General Ledger. Good Interpersonal relations skills ● planning and organizing skills ● good written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills ● problem solving skills ● ability to work under pressure without compromising the quality of work ● ability to interact with clients will be essential. Key Performance Areas: Maintain the fixed asset register and asset general ledger ● Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system ● Reviewing and updating detailed schedules including annual additions and disposals, accumulated depreciation. Conduct periodic physical inventory counts of fixed assets ● Run monthly depreciation for all fixed assets on the asset management system ● Assign tag numbers to all newly acquired assets ● Preparation of reports and reconciliations relating to fixed assets Investigate the potential obsolescence of fixed assets ● Review asset acquisitions to ensure that assets are categorised correctly in terms of the Asset Management Policy ● Verify that the cost of the asset is correct in terms of the Asset. Management Policy and that all applicable costs have been included ● Administer and manage the movement of assets in the Authority ● Stock control ensuring that the right quality and quantities are received and issued as per the approved requests ● Submit insurance claims on behalf of the Authority. ADMIN ASSISTANT: FORENSIC & ETHICS. Salary: R 248 285 basic salary p/a plus benefits (Pretoria) Requirements: Grade 12 and National Diploma in Forensic Investigation, Forensic Science and Technology, Diploma in Policing or equivalent NQF level 5. Coupled with 1-2 years administrative experience in forensic investigation or Law Enforcement environment. ● Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and applicable knowledge and experience on the Job may be considered during the selection process. Essential criteria: English Proficiency; Micro soft packages, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Compier; Report writing skills; Data capturing experience; Customer Relations; Handling confidential information; General Office Administration skills; Document Management; Problem Solving and Analytical skills. Key Performance Areas: Establishes and maintains efficient filling system, Confidential records, personal files, correspondence and information, Uses moderate independent judgement within established guidelines; Composes, types and edits variety of reports, correspondences and other material requiring judgement as to content, formal, accuracy, completeness and confidential; Inputs data to standard department software applications and office forms, assist in preparing various reports and documents, these documents include complaints reports, investigation reports, quarterly reports, annual reports and complaint filling; Performs routine clerical and administrative work in data processing, answering phoned, routing callers, providing information, receiving the public, providing customer assistance and ensures a high degree of customer service satisfaction; Perform confidential transcripts as requested by departmental personnel; Maintains confidential transcripts as requested by department personnel; Establishes and maintains filing systems such as electronic filing / record keeping system e.g. tracking all courses and certificates relates related to training of department members; Register departmental members for training courses, in addition to coordinating all travelling logistics arrangements in relation to training/ investigation.
