NKANGALA DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY DRIVER/ VIP PROTECTOR TO THE COUNCIL WHIP X 2 TERM OF OFFICE: Fixed term contract, linked to the term of Office of the current Council Whip POST LEVEL: 5/9 SALARY SCALE: R 690 455 00 p.a (Total cost to Company/ All-inclusive package) QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: NQF 4: Intermediate Certificate, Valid Driver’s License EB (code 8) Advance/Defensive Driving Certificate, Use of Firearm/Control Certificate, Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point) and typing skills, VIP Protection/ and or Bodyguard Training will serve as an added advantage EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: The candidate must have a minimum of 1-3 years’ work experience. DUTIES: · Provide driving/ chauffeuring/Protection to the council Whip in the discharge of his official duties. · Always ensure fitness and maintenance of the vehicle of the council Whip or including washing and cleaning. · Report damage and/ or vehicle defects to the Office of the council Whip. · Maintain a proper record of trips undertaken by the council Whip. · Always obtain trip authorization from the Office of the Municipal Manager for the trips being undertaken. · Ensure that the vehicle is properly registered.
