Requirements for Qualifications and Experience:
Knowledge & Skills: Food technology. Knowledge in food quality management systems. Implementation and auditing of food safety management systems (HACCP, ISO 22000). Good understanding of inspection systems (ISO 17020). Knowledge of canning, freezing and chilling technologies. Knowledge in the fishery and meat industries would be an advantage. Basic knowledge of legislation, which governs the business unit. Good knowledge of the NRCS Act and Regulations and services offered. Good knowledge of MS Office programs- MS WORD, MS EXCEL. Behavioural attributes: Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and independently without constant supervision. Honesty. Committed. Ability to work in a team as well as independently. Organisational skills and working in an organized confidential manner.
