NATIONAL HERITAGE COUNCIL (NHC) RESEARCH AND POLICY SPECIALIST (Reference: 07/06/RS/2023) The National Heritage Council (NHC) has a vacancy for a Research and Policy Specialist position in the Core Business unit, with a focus to plan and initiate research on identified heritage-related topics to support strategic priorities in line with the NHC mandate as well as assist in the formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of heritage policies. The position is a five (5) year fixed-term contract based at Hatfield, Pretoria.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS ● Planning and initiating research for the NHC ● Development of sector policy positioning papers ● Dissemination of information ● Stakeholder engagement and relationship management MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS Required qualifications ● At least a Master’s Degree in Heritage and Culture related subjects in Social Sciences and Humanities, Project Management or related and/or Equivalent NQF level 9 qualification.
