MUNICIPAL DEMARCATION BOARD (MDB) VACANCIES EXECUTIVE MANAGER: CORPORATE SERVICES An all-inclusive remuneration package of R1, 189, 338.00 per annum at salary level 14. The package includes a basic salary (70% of package), and a flexible portion that may be structured in terms of the applicable guidelines.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Corporate Services Division to ensure the provision of efficient and effective services to the MDB in accordance with legislative and statutory requirements. To participate as a member of the MDB executive management team and fulfil the necessary requirements thereof. The Key Results Areas will include the following: Corporate Services Management (HR and Administration) Facilities Management Stakeholder Management Performance Management The incumbent in the performance of his/her duties will be required to lead the Division to deliver services within set service levels and performance targets and thus should; 1. Be responsible for staff management and capacity building within the Division 2. Develop and implement the Division business plan and risk management plan 3. Manage and control the budget of the Division. Includes making motivations for budget adjustments 4. Oversee the provision of human resources and administration, legal and secretariat services, information technology and stakeholder, media relations and corporate planning within MDB 5. Provide technical support to the organisation in driving transformation and change management initiatives within the MDB 6. Facilitate, develop and monitor implementation of organisational policies, procedures and plans 7. Advise and make informed recommendations on corporate services policy, strategic and operational matters to the CEO and Board 8. Ensure compliance and adherence to the applicable legislation, regulations, policies and rules applicable to and impacting the MDB 9. Establish, maintain and review strategic relationships with stakeholders and represent the MDB in various structures 10. Drive specific tasks as mandated by the CEO and the Board, as and when required Note: Short-listed candidates will be required to be available for an interview and assessment on a date and at a time and venue that will suit the MDB.
