EXECUTIVE MANAGER: CORPORATE SERVICES (Re-advertisement} REF NO: EXEC CORP 001/04/2023 BASE STATION: HEAD OFFICE (MBOMBELA) PATERSON GRADE: E3 REMUNERATION: R 1 587 725.39 (All-inclusive package per annum) REPORTING TO: THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER DURATION: 5-YEAR FIXED-TERM CONTRACT Purpose of the post: To ensure the Management and Development of Human Resources, Legal Services and Information Communication Technology. Qualifications, skills and other requirements: A Diploma / Degree at NQF L7 as recognised by SAQA in Human Resources Management / Public Management / Administration or an equivalent qualification coupled with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Senior Management • A Post Graduate Qualification (NQF L8) will be an added advantage • Valid driver's license •Strong leadership and management practice • High level of understanding of human resources, Legal and ICT legislations, policies and practices • High level of communication, public speaking, negotiations, people management, strategic thinking and change management skills • Commitment to transformation, stakeholder relations and accountability •Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the regulatory and policy framework for the Public Service. • Compliance with the Public Finance Management Act and other government legislations. Key Performance Areas: Strategic Leadership and Management of the Corporate Services Programme which includes Human Resources, Legal Services and ICT• Ensure an organisational culture to improve business performance and service delivery • Development and Management of HR policies • Manage relations with applicable stakeholders • Ensure internal business excellence within the Corporate Services Programme • Implement applicable government policy directives and legislations • To develop .and implement the HR Strategy aligned to the organisation's objectives •Manage the budget of Corporate Services •Compile and submit quarterly .and annual reports for Corporate Services •Serves as a link between the employer and organised labour. Note. Candidates need to meet the requirements for a Top Secret Security Clearance. The top two candidates as per the interview scores for the Executive Manager: Corporate Services position will be subjected to a compulsory Competency Assessment. EXECUTIVE MANAGER: BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION REF NO: EXEC BIO 002/04/2023 BASE STATION: HEAD OFFICE (MBOMBELA) PATERSON GRADE: E3 REMUNERATION: R 1 587 725.39 (All-inclusive package per annum) REPORTING TO: THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER DURATION: 5-YEAR FIXED-TERM CONTRACT Purpose of the post: • To manage and conserve biodiversity and eco-systems within the Mpumalanga Province, to manage Protected Areas and to promote and create socio-economic growth within the conservation industry. Qualifications, skills and other requirements: • A B-Tech Degree in Nature Conservation or equivalent qualification with five years' experience on a Senior Management level or a combination of education and experience • A Master's Degree in Environmental Science/ Management (NQF L8) will be an added advantage. • Registered with any Environmental Professional Body will be an added advantage. •Strong leadership and management practice • High level of understanding of the Environmental Management, Biodiversity and Conservation international, national and provincial treaties and legislations • High level of communication, public speaking, negotiation, people management, strategic thinking and change management skills • Commitment to transformation, stakeholder relations and accountability • Good Corporate Governance, resource mobilization and performance management skills. •Ability to recruit, develop and retain talent within the Biodiversity Conservation. Key Performance Areas: • Strategic leadership and management of the Biodiversity Conservation programme • Provide a framework for the establishment and management of protected areas • Promote the conservation and sustainable development of our natural resources • Manage relations with applicable stakeholders • Ensure internal business excellence within the Biodiversity Conservation Programme • Implement applicable government policy directives and legislation • Performance management of Biodiversity Conservation Programme.
