PROJECT EXECUTIVE Business Unit OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL MANAGER Reference Number: KZ292MMPE 001 Task Grade: T19 MN Number: MN: 08 /2023 Remuneration R 882 132,24- R 114 5072,40 p.a. (excluding employer contribution on pension, medical aid, 13th cheque and housing subsidy), plus Locomotion Allowance and cell-phone allowance in terms of Council policy. Requirements A Grade 12, B. Degree with Accounting/Auditing/Taxation or Risk Management at NQF Level 7, Computer literate (MS Word- Excel), 5 year’s managerial experience in dealing with issues of municipal legislative compliant with more focus on MFMA, Code B/08 Driver’s license. National Treasury Minimum Competency Requirements (Candidates who are not in possession of the National Treasury Minimum Competency Requirements will be given 18 months to achieve such after being appointed. Duties • Direct, lead, control, direct a quality comprehensive internal audit and risk management function to the Municipality by: Developing and implementing the municipal compliance policy and framework. • Development and implementation of the municipal wide compliance checklist • Ensuring Business Units’ compliance with the municipal website checklist • Coordinate departmental responses on queries raised by the Auditor General • Coordinate responses on AG Action Plans • Development and implementation of the AG outstanding issues tracking tool (AG Tracker) • Implementation of the Business Continuity Plan • Manages the Risk & Compliance Department • Facilitate the seating of the Risk Management Committee • Works with EDs in identification of departmental risks • Works with EDs in compiling the municipal and departmental Risk Registers • Ensures the implementation of the Risk Register by departments • Ensure the proper functioning of the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) (MPAC support and functionality) • Establishing accessibility mechanisms for dealing with complaints from persons, together with prompt replies and corrective action by the municipality • Manage, coordinate and evaluate the improvement of governance management processes • Establish and maintain enterprise risk management (ERM), ethics management and monitor compliance within the organization PLEASE NOTE: 1.
