JOHANNESBURG CITY PARKS AND ZOO EXECUTIVE MANAGER: BUSINESS SUPPORT PERMANENT • SALARY SCALE: R1 568 254,31 - R2 280 222,24 Reporting to the Managing Director, the Executive Manager's role shall align to Business Support strategy with organizational strategic objectives across facilities, Strategic Planning and Business Development, Marketing and Communications, Intergovernmental Liaison, Knowledge Management and ICT • To monitor the Division's key themes and develop alternative themes in line with the organization's annual business plan imperatives • To monitor the performance of the company and manage the administrative support and records keeping requirements. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing, Business or IT • Post Graduate qualification in Business or IT or related studies (will be an added advantage) • Minimum of 8 - 10 years' experience in Marketing, IT, Strategy or Business Development of which at least 3 years have been at a Senior Management/Executive level, preferably in the Public Sector environment • Exposure to Strategic planning. EXECUTIVE MANAGER: OPERATIONS PERMANENT SALARY SCALE: R1 568 254,31 - R2 280 222,24 Reporting to the Managing Director, the Executive Manager's role shall align to the Service Delivery strategy with organisational strategic objectives • To oversee the core regional maintenance and cemeteries functions of the organization • To strategically direct the development of parks, cemeteries and regions and the arboricultural /horticultural activity within them • Direct reports to include the following job titles; Senior Managers, Capital Infrastructure Development , Facilities Management and Security , Cemeteries and Crematoria • To monitor the department's key themes and develop alternative themes in line with the organisation's annual business plan imperatives • To collaborate with Environmental Conservation with respect to ensuring state-of-the-art services are delivered by JCPZ. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Horticulture /Arboriculture and or Environmental management related discipline • Post Graduate qualification in related field (will be an added advantage) • Minimum of 8 - 10 years' experience in Operational Environmental/ Horticultural Environment of which at least 3 years have been at a Senior Management/ Executive level, preferably in the municipality environment • Exposure to Strategic planning and implementation of service delivery Integrated Development Plan. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Drives strategy of the Department • To direct, oversee and manage the various departmental functions • Leads and manages the horticultural and arboricultural maintenance of all JCPZ regions • Oversees, ensures and conducts managerial responsibilities - provides advice, guidance and oversight on the company's strategic planning • Implementation of sustainable renewable energy, water harvesting and conservation • Develop EPWP and Cooperative models that will advance seamless service delivery within JCPZ • Manages risk - Implements identified risk mitigation measures ensuring compliance through policy and procedure.
