ADVANCEMENT DEPARTMENT FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR Basic Salary Range: R305 220 – R412 908 per annum, plus benefits Requirements: A relevant three-year Degree or Diploma with a post-graduate qualification as advantageous • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in an Advancement/CSI/ Fundraising environment • Intermediate level computer literacy in MS Office Suite and project management databases • Training in fundraising • Valid driver’s license. • Experience/knowledge/understanding of large-scale fundraising projects/ soliciting, grant applications both local and international • Relevant experience in dealing with corporate sponsorships, planning, proposal writing, relationship management, negotiation, reporting, database management, presentations and public speaking • People, programme and project management • Financial Management • Materials development and presentation skills. Key Responsibilities include: Internal Communications, Engagement and Liaison • Donor research and funding applications • Reporting, monitoring and evaluation • Corporate communications and events • Develop, implement and review all fundraising related materials • Management of bequests • Oversight and development of all fundraising and related databases. Competencies Required: Ability to plan and implement projects • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work to deadlines and effectively under pressure • Organizational and time management skills • Attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal skills PUBLICATIONS & MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTION COORDINATOR Basic Salary Range: R305 220 – R412 908 per annum, plus benefits Requirements: Degree in Marketing/Communication/Journalism/Public Relations/Graphic Design • Project Management experience essential • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a Marketing & Communications environment • Advanced level computer literacy in MS Office Suite • Valid driver’s license. Key Responsibilities include: Co-ordinate the development of various publications products • Proactively plan and implement communication and publications programmes and resources for publications • Co-ordinate and develop the production of all print and electronic communication publications for the Annual Report, Iziko What’s On, generic brochures, Iziko e-Newsletter, generic posters, website and intranet • Co-ordinate multi-media presentations, media liaison, speech writing, editing, copy writing, advertising, invitations, photographic imagery, print services, and other communication and publications materials as and when required. Competencies Required: Strong command of the English language (written and verbal), Afrikaans and Xhosa will be an advantage • Strong writing, editing and proof-reading skills • Conceptualization and material development skills • Ability to prioritize workload and work to deadlines • Organizational and time management skills • Attention to detail • Customer focused proficiency in operating an Apple Macintosh and knowledge of desktop publishing software. BASIC SALARY AND BENEFITS The salaries quoted above do not include benefits. Iziko benefits comprise generous contributions towards a designated retirement fund (compulsory), a designated medical aid (voluntary) and a housing subsidy (voluntary). Other employment conditions such as working hours and leave entitlement are also generous.
