Key performance areas: Coordinating, empowering and sensitizing stakeholders for effective participation in integrated water resources management (IWRM). Implement capacity building programmes for emerging farmers/ HDI water users through Agricultural Workshops. Link the IUCMA activities with stakeholders. Effective facilitation of and participation in function-specific Education and Awareness initiatives (including National Water Week, Science schools’ competitions, career expos etc.) conducted in the catchment. Promote Cooperative Governance. Support and coordinate the implementation of IUCMA programmes with other institutions through the Catchment Management Forums (CMFs) Coordinate IUCMA participation at IWRM related forums’ where the IUCMA collaborates with / provides advisory services to external stakeholders including government departments and other sector partners.
