DEPARTMENT OF MINERAL RESOURCES - TDX TRI-CONE BITS SCAM [email protected] is not the official Department of Minerals and Energy domain. The official domain is http://www.dmr.gov.za All of the departments procurement opportunities are only advertised on https://etenders.treasury.gov.za/which is the official National Treasury Tenders website. The department does not sent out emails for tenders. Best of all please remember the services that your company is registered for. This is a shot in the dark by scammers targeting greedy individuals. TDX TRI-CONE BITS are used for drilling in mining. Scammers will even send a fraudulent request to companies supplying stationary. Funny but true, and it works on greedy and stupid people. So please be extra careful. What is also interesting about this this scam is that the email will have your companies CSD registration number. The sad and realistic fact is the people working in government having access to your company details and using them to scam you. There are unscrupulous civil servants involved in this scams and they operate in syndicates. They target just everyone and now it has become a wide phishing expedition. Unlike before, government has tightened procurement and money is no longer just being paid out for undelivered services. So the same corrupt officials are now blindly phishing with your details. The Department of Minerals and Energy is not a mining company. There is absolutely no need for them to have such a tender. ABSOLUTELY NONE!!! Please be weary of such emails, share the warn and remain vigilant. Delete and block the sender and domain.
