TEMPORARY VACANCY DM ADMINISTRATION: PRE-VERIFICATION &CAPTURING Salary: R17 863.00 per month The General Public Service Sector Bargaining Council (GPSSBC) was designated in terms of the PSCBC Resolution 10 of 1999 as the Bargaining Council of the General Public Sector. The GPSSBC was registered with the Registrar of Labour Relations on July 28th, 1999, and subsequently inaugurated on September 7th, 1999. Role Description: The DM Administrator: Pre- verification & Capturing forms part of the Pre-verification team which is responsible for ensuring accurate distribution and screening of correspondences prior to scheduling in & Arbitrations. The team comprises the Assistant Manager: DMU pre-process, the DM officer: Screening& Pre-verification, the DM Administrator: pre-verification & capturing and the DM Administrators: Indexing & Helpdesk. The primary function of the DM Administrator: Pre-verification & Capturing is to ensure the accurate preparation of cases before submission to Conciliation and Arbitration for processing. This includes handling of condonations, joining of cases and accurate capturing of all information thereof. The DM Administrator: Pre- verification & Capturing also plays a support role to the Conciliation Officers by performing clerical functions as required. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Consolidation of cases and joining of parties of similar cases on Collaborator system. • Processing condonations. • Data Capturing of information of referral forms onto Collaborator. • Assist the Conciliation Officers through the provision of designated task. • Manual filling and storage of all documents as required. • Dealing with enquiries related to the pre-process, as part of the Helpdesk team. • Assisting walk-ins with queries related to the pre-process. Required Skills & Attributes • Excellent Communication skills; Computer Literacy- e.g., MS Office (MS word, Excel, Power point and in-house related programs); Adaptability; Continual Learning; Ability to work in a team.; Independent; Organising and Planning. Minimum requirements The applicant must be a South African. Must have completed and passed grade 12 (Matric) and have a Certificate in office Administration/Labour Relations (Diploma in Labour Relations will be an added advantage) at any recognized South African Institution of Higher Education and Training (HET) on the disciplines. Have a valid South African ID. The applicants must have at least 1+ years’ experience in an administrative role.
