INFORMATION COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY EXECUTIVE MANAGER: IT DEVELOPMENT & OPERATIONS (PATERSON BAND D) Qualification with specialization: Bachelor's Degree in the field of computer science or business administration, IT or related field and 5 to 8 years' experience In Senior Management position in the IT environment with at least 3 years in IT Operations Management or Data Report to: Chief Digital and Information Officer Purpose: To design, plan, monitor, and improve the organization's Data Management functions. The central objective of this role is to ensure that the organization's Data Management disciplines are limning effectively and meeting the business's needs regarding data. The Executive Manager must be able to understand both the technical points of Data Management, as well as the business drivers and needs regarding data. This individual must be able to understand the "bits and the bytes" related to the organization's Data Management and develop a strategic plan for the technical space considering the business's perspective and needs. To manage all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of organizational information systems and software applications. The Executive Manager is also responsible for overseeing the maintenance, support and upgrading of existing systems and application. To manage and ensure the efficient operation of the company's network, client servers, databases, and equipment. The individual will also work closely with other IT executive and senior management staff and decision makers in other units to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. Develop, Manage, and implement GMA Workforce Planning Strategies to support Organisational Design. Develop and manage the implementation of the Integrated Talent Management and Succession Planning Framework within the GMA. PROJECT MANAGEMENT SENIOR MANAGER: PROJECT CONTROL (PATERSON BAND D) Qualification with specialization: Bachelor of Science) Technology/Engineering in the Engineering and Built Environment/Cost Management/Financial Management and Registration or registrable with a council of professional practitioners recognized in South African law and 5 to 8 years relevant post graduate experience in managerial position and a minimum of 10 years' experience in a project environment with detailed knowledge of Estimating, Cost Control, Planning, and Quantity Surveying Report to Executive Manager: Project Controls, Governance & Portfolio Management Purpose: Responsible for the overall management of project controls that enable the optimal delivery of GMA projects within the approved budget and timelines, including measurable project performance management. Responsible for the creation, roll-out, application, and management centralized Portfolio Management organizational process assets that include the application of best practice to enable effective project and contract management for the Gautrain system, as well as all future expansions and extensions. Responsible for the lifecycle management of the centralized project and contract CAPEX, and OPEX budget as well as the Procurement Plan thereof. Managing the Project Control resources by leading and directing sub-ordinates so that they are motivated and have access to the required resources for them to meet their respective work objectives. INFORMATION COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY ICT COORDINATOR (PATERSON BAND C) Qualification with specialization: Tertiary qualification in project coordination or certificate in IT and 2 to 3 years' experience in an IT environment Report to: Chief Information Officer (CIO). Purpose: To assist in the coordination of ICT activities including 1st line Helpdesk support, management of Helpdesk system, general ICT administration, ICT storeroom management, online security awareness programme administration, coordination of BCM and IT DR exercises. Providing administrative support to include, but are not limited to, scheduling, correspondence, coordination, and communication on behalf of the CIO and team. INFORMATION COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST: APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (PATERSON BAND C) Qualification with specialization: Bachelor's Degrees or National Diploma or in the field of business administration, computer science, finance, or information systems, IT or related qualification and 3 to 6 Years' Experience in the IT/Application Development environment. Report to: Senior IT Infrastructure Manager Purpose: Design, code, execute, assess, test, troubleshoot and analyze software programs and applications as per user requirements. Researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the DevOps lifecycle. Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required.

Develop Knowledge management strategies, policies and plans for the GMA in line with overall strategy and values. Manage and implement use of technology for KM projects. Provide advisory technical expertise in all KM initiatives for the GMA. Promote Knowledge Management and embedment across all business functions. Provide Knowledge Management Support and launching new knowledge base products or services in collaboration with ICT, HC and Marketing and Communications Manage GMA Thought Leadership and Knowledge Share Platforms. Develop and implement records management strategies, policies, and procedures. Ensure adherence and compliance to all applicable records management legislation and regulatory framework. Report to: Senior IT Information Management Manager Purpose: To strategically design and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses. This includes selecting, blueprinting, gathering requirements, designing, rolling out BI solutions to end users, as well as providing support for these systems. The Business Intelligence Specialist is also responsible for ensuring high levels of BI availability. Report to Executive Manager: Marketing Purpose: To manage and produce aesthetic print, digital, online, and audio-visual products for the GMA and Gautrain for internal and external platforms. Design, manage and maintain GMA stationery. Efficient management of administrative functions. KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST: DOCUMENT CONTROL AND REGISTRY (PATERSON BAND C) Qualification with specialization: Diploma Records Management or Administration and 4 - 6 years' relevant experience plus experience in project environment document control service provision. Report to Senior Manager: Records Management and Document Control Purpose: Manage GMA Document Control service function in accordance with the CA, Manage GMA Registry and Offsite Storage Facilities in accordance with the SLA, Manage Secure Document Shredding Solution Service for the GMA, Assist in the implementation of the Holistic Records Management Programme for the GMA. Document Control Service Provision i.e., Correspondence Management in accordance with the CA (review, monitor, assign, report, and archive). Document Control Service Provision for the PMO. Registry management. Manage project related document control (CA). Create new folders for electronically filed documents on ProjectWise system. KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST: KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT (PATERSON BAND C) — National Diploma Qualification with specialization: In Knowledge Management/Information Management/ Communication or equivalent and 4 - 6 years' relevant experience in Knowledge Management or related with records management experience. Report to Senior Manager: Knowledge Management Centre of Excellence. Purpose: Develop and manage EDMS service provision and user training, Knowledge Management Strategy Implementation, Knowledge Management Policies and Procedures Development, GMA Knowledge Mapping Project, Knowledge management tools; knowledge portal, case studies, fact sheets, technical papers etc., Quarterly report contribution for the KM Unit, Help to deploy knowledge and information management strategies that support business objectives, Ensuring that the local KM processes are embedded and aligned with GMA Strategies, Central coordinating point for KM Content to support the Intranet and other GMA platforms, Maintenance of KM pages on the local Intranet, Assist in the KM and promoting the knowledge sharing and rewards culture through regular trainings and innovative actions. KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST: RECORDS MANAGEMENT (PATERSONBAND C) Qualification with specialization: Diploma Records Management or Administration and 4 - 6 years' relevant experience plus experience in project environment document control service provision. Report to Senior Manager: Records Management and Document Control Purpose: Manage the implementation of the Holistic Records Management Programme for the GMA. Provision of Records Management service to the GMA, Management of GMA e-Library Services, Provision of Document Control service to the GMA, Assist in maintenance of GMA Registry.
