GAUTENG GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (GGDA) CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER (PERMANENT CONTRACT WITH THREE MONTHS’ PROBATION, GRADE D3, SALARY R758 300.60 TOTAL COST OF EMPLOYMENT) The Gauteng Growth and Development Agency (GGDA) is the implementing arm of the Department of Economic Development created in terms of the Blue IQ Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd Amended Act (2012), which merged the Blue IQ Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd and the Gauteng Economic Development Agency (GEDA). The GGDA is a group of companies made up of a Holding company and four subsidiaries i.e. · Automotive Supply Park t/a Automotive Industry Development Centre (AIDC) · The Innovation Hub (TIH) · Constitution Hill (ConHill) · Gauteng Industrial Development Zone (GIDZ)
The successful incumbent will report to the Group SCM Manager, and will be expected to execute the following tasks: · Develop, implement and maintain the supply chain management policies and procedures, procurement processes and contract management function within the Group
· Ensure Compliance to all Supply Chain Policies, Processes and Procedures by :
· Prepare draft Group consolidated procurement plan for review by the Group SCM Manager · Receive requisition forms from GGDA Department, register, allocate numbers and manage their fair allocation to the Procurement Officers · On delivery of goods and services, accordingly update monthly procurement report · Ensure invoices are attached to the appropriate purchase orders and submitted to Finance for payment and followed by weekly checking on progress payment for the benefit of the service providers
AS A MINIMUM, APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: · B. Com degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant Qualification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management · 5-7 years SCM experience, coupled with · 3-5 years management experience LEVEL OF COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: · Integrity · Computer literacy and Analytical decision making · Negotiation, Problem solving, Judgment, Stress handling and resilience · Assertiveness · Building relationships, Customer responsiveness and Influencing and · Planning, prioritising and creative Applications must be accompanied by a curriculum vitae, certified copies of qualifications and certified copies of identity document.
