EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND/OR CERTIFICATES • Degree in Communications, Specialising Brand Digital/Media Relations Management and Stakeholder Relations or Advanced Diploma in Digital Marketing or other relevant Business Management Degree • A minimum of 5 years managerial / operational experience in Stakeholder Management • An established track record in the field of Digital Brand management or Media Relations and stakeholder relations. • Member of a Marketing/Communication Professional Body KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Broad knowledge and a strong network in the Communications and Digital Industries • Sponsorship Management • Strategic Brand Digital Marketing Communications • Passionate about Community Development • Passionate about Youth Skills Development • Brand Management, Journalistic & Report writing, Articles, publications, reports & adverts • Printing & design background • Media Digital Brand Communications • Technology driven and systems based • Excellent Communication Skills • Excellent Writing Skills • Excellent time Management Skills • Ability to develop a compelling business proposition and communicate this orally and in written form • Ability to Travel and work late hours as and when required by the business • Strong knowledge of the SETA landscape, communications, and mandate • Customer Management System software (Preferable) • Projects Management • Digital branding, marketing & capacity • Specialising in Digital Branding or Media relations BEHAVIUORAL TRAITS • Brand leadership • Positive influence capabilities • Independence • Precision • Cognitive application of coherent principles • Confidentiality KEY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership role • Brand enhancement and Reputation Management • Reposition the FP&M SETA • Develop and maintain branding and visual identity guidelines • Design and execute Stakeholder Engagement Surveys • Timeous, Professional Management of sponsorships for Branded purposes Policy development and review • Control and regulate organisational communication • Develop, review, revise and implement policies as required processes Stakeholder management • Ensure the SETA participation in strategic engagement programmes • Reposition the FP&M SETA • Leveraging of SETA/stakeholder communication opportunities • Manage the call center • Be the stakeholder & communication liaison officer • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys • Implement rigorous communications campaign promoting all SETA interventions • Responsible for strategic direction and execution of all internal and external communications Events Management • Plan, organise, execute, and manage events including AGM, roadshows, industry events, training, and corporate events • Create and update collateral, presentations, vouchers, web content, newsletters, signage ads and tools with inputs from the CEO and stakeholders Media Management • Assist the organisation to tell Stories • Facilitate media interviews for the CEO and management • Establish and maintain contacts with local and national media to ensure that all opportunities for positive exposure are fully explored • Work on the intranet and internet site developing and maintaining content • Respond to queries (emails/telecoms) within 72 hours Reporting • Write, edit, and work on publications of articles, magazines, and other organizational reports • Preparation and proof reading of statutory reports • Submit reports to relevant structures as required Audit and Risk • Liaise with Auditors and manage audit process, while ensuring that all recommendations from Auditors are adequately addressed • Identify and mitigate risks Administrative duties • Tracking and tracing of complaint enquiries and ensuring that effective successful resolution of client/stakeholders’ queries • Execute general office administration • Prepare PowerPoint presentations as required by the CEO • Performs related work as required Performance Management • Efficiently manage the unit utilizing high technological solutions • Ensure knowledge transfer and capacity building of staff within the division • Manage the performance of staff assigned to the department • Liaise with the HR division in conducting performance appraisals and ensure competency and training gaps are addressed
