ETHEKWINI MUNICIPALITY STUDENT BURSARIES FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES - 2024 ACADEMIC YEAR eThekwini Municipality is offering excellent bursary opportunities to South African citizens interested in a rewarding career, in: i) Electrical Engineering ii) Mechanical Engineering iii) Civil Engineering iv) Chemical Engineering v) Medical Officers (General and Occupational Health) vi) Electronic Engineering vii Architects viii Quantity Surveyor ix) Valuer ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): ► South African citizen; ► Completed Matric OR currently in Matric; ► Strong academic record; ► Studying or plan to study full-time towards an undergraduate qualification in one of the above-mentioned fields of study; ► Studying or planning to study at a SAQA-recognised South African public tertiary institution. ► Acceptance to study for the above qualifications. Preference will be given to applicants who have passed at least their first year of studies at a SAQA recognised public institution, and applicants must include their full academic record. Applications from students who are only due to start their studies in 2024 must include proof of their acceptance from a SAQA-recognised South African public university and matric results. The benefits of the bursary include accommodation fees, tuition and examination fees, and a book allowance and a once-off computer allowance in the second year of study (subject to compliance with the agreement). Applicants are advised that e-mailed, manual and late applications will not be accepted. Applicants will be required to undergo an assessment as part of the process for consideration. Step 3: Once your profile has been created on the system, you will receive an email confirming that you have successfully registered.
