Physical Requirements: The physical attributes required for the performance of tasks associated with specific key performance areas in this post necessitates that the incumbent be physically fit and able bodied. SMALL PLANT OPERATOR (SEASONAL) REF NO: 99950056/Various Basic Salary: R133 660.78 / R168 858.57 pa Grade: 04 Job Purpose: Maintain, operate and care for a variety of machinery and equipment and perform various tasks and duties in compliance with applicable policies and procedures to deliver an effective maintenance service to public facilities and open places within the eThekwini Municipal Area. Essential Requirements: •An appropriate level of primary education. •Certificate of competence in the operation of small plant and equipment or obtainable within 6 months of appointment. •1 Month relevant experience. Special Conditions: •May be required to work overtime. •May be required to work in all weather conditions. Physical Requirements: · Required to be physically fit and healthy to perform all manual and physical requirements of the post.
