EDUCATION, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT PRACTICES SECTOR EDUCATION TRAINING AUTHORITY (ETDP-SETA)
The ETDP SETA needs to employ a suitably qualified graduate for the internship program with the essential attributes, skills and necessary qualifications. WORKER EDUCATION INTERN Salary: R 6 500 per month (Total-Cost-To-Company) Job Purpose: Provide secretariat activities such as minute taking, organize meetings, report writing and stakeholder management. The successful incumbent will be based in the ETDP SETA Head Office in Johannesburg and report to the Senior Research Specialist. The successful candidate must have the following minimum responsibilities: Qualifications and experience: • Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to NQF level 7) in Education Training and Development, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development or Social Sciences. • A postgraduate qualification in the above fields will be an added advantage. • Skills or knowledge of organizing meetings (venue, flight, accommodation bookings). • Minute taking. • Report-writing and presentation skills. • Knowledge of stakeholder relations. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Basic knowledge of project management and skills for information searching. • Good interpersonal skills • Good conceptualisation skills and attention to detail. • Flexible and adaptive with a positive approach to taking on several duties. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Duties and Responsibilities: • Minute writing for all meetings of the Worker Education Project. • Prepare packs for all Worker Education meetings. • Prepare presentations as directed by manager. • Prepare reports as directed by manager. • Organize venues for meetings. • Aid with travel arrangements. • Establish a working relationship with internal and external stakeholders for Worker Education. • Participate in education, training and development programs, workshops, and seminars for Worker Education. • Perform any other administrative duties assigned by the Line Manager.
