EASTERN CAPE GAMBLING AND BETTING BOARD (ECGBB) The Eastern Cape Gambling Board is a statutory body established for the purposes of regulating gambling activities in the Eastern Cape Province. The Board is located in the scenic coastal city of East London. EXECUTIVE MANAGER – CORPORATE SERVICES (PERMANENT) DIVISION: CORPORATE SERVICES TOTAL COST TO COMPANY PACKAGE: R1 848 963 PER ANNUM (NEGOTIABLE)
Requirements: ● Masters Degree in Human Resource Management/ Business Management / Administration or relevant equivalent ●8-10 years related experience of which 5 years must be in a senior management level. Competencies and Skills: ● Strategic leadership capability ● Good ethical conduct ● Ability to maintain high levels of integrity ● Excellent communicator with high degree of emotional intelligence● Ability to lead multiple portfolios with diverse teams● Customer relationship management ● Sound knowledge of legislation relevant to human resource management, strategic planning, records management, PFMA and Treasury regulations. Key Performance Areas: ● Develop and lead the implementation and maintenance of relevant divisional strategies, policies, standard operating procedures, guidelines and processes, in line with relevant legislation ●Provide overall strategic leadership of the human resource management services to ensure efficient and effective delivery ●Lead the development of organisational strategy and other planning documents ●Oversee and ensure proper organisational performance information management and reporting through the development and maintenance of systems, policies and plans● Provide strategic leadership to the Communication and Marketing portfolio● Oversee development of and implementation of the Designated and Vulnerable groups Plan and CSI programme ●Lead the implementation of an effective and efficient Socio Economic Development programme ●Develop and direct the implementation of the ECGB’s research and knowledge management strategy ●Financial Management & Internal Controls ●People Management and Empowerment.
