Undertake planned painting tasks and repairs that have been allocated by the Foreman. Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc. Apply paint using different brushes or rollers to fill in cracks, or apply colour on walls and other objects. Read instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary to be carried out. Ensure that the work area is left neat and tidy after completing work. Adherence to occupational health and safety standards at all times. Ensure that all ISO NCR’s are closed off as quickly as possible. Demonstrate extensive experience in laying intricate wall and floor ceramic, mosaic, slate, marble, and glass tiles for the interior and exterior.
