Construction Industry Performance: Provide leadership in the development and implementation of construction industry transformation policies, frameworks and programmes. Provide leadership in the development and implementation of best practices, standards and measurement for the construction industry. Oversee the facilitation, coordination and monitoring of the development of business conditions in support of infrastructure spend. Construction Industry Procurement & Development: Develop and oversee the implementation of procurement and contractor development standards in line with the cidb business plan. Oversee the development and the implementation of capacity development programmes for procurement and delivery of infrastructure. Regional Operations: Oversee the execution of the cidb mandate in the construction sector. Manage Own Area of Responsibility: Oversee the implementation of the core operations Annual Operational Plans. Risk, Finance and Supply Chain Management within own unit. Educational requirements: Honours degree (NQF Level 8) in construction, built environment, business administration/ leadership or related qualification. Master's degree will be an added advantage.
