FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR (FIXED TERM CONTRACT UP TO 31 MARCH 2030) Reporting to the Accountant, the incumbent in this position will be required to perform and ensure the efficient execution of financial administration and ensure related financial controls are adhered to and complied with. Minimum Requirements: • Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting/Auditing • 1-2 years’ experience Finance, Accounting and Financial Administration or similar experience of which 1 year should be GL, Bank and Creditors reconciliations, payments and filing. Key Performance Areas • Provides support in relation to all administrative work in a professional, thorough, and accurate manner to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the Department. • Processes all paperwork and documentation, ensure set deadlines and timeframes are adhered to. • Organizes and maintains records, ensures an adequate filing system is in place and tracking of documentation for future reference purposes. • Prepares documents according to correct processes and procedures to maintain standards and compliance. • Coordinates administration on behalf of the Grants & Projects Department, to ensure that the relevant / necessary internal processes run smoothly, thereby contributing to reaching set objectives. • Investments processing and reconciliation • Asset management • Trial Balance Report Linking • Cash Book capturing and reconciliation. • Supplier Capturing and Reconciliation (DG Supplier Reconciliation) • Supplier payment within 30 days • Maintains effective working relationships with customers (both internal and external) towards rendering highest quality of services. • Identifies and solves problems creatively whilst demonstrating a high level of integrity in line with CHIETA’S core values. • Supports the effective and transparent use of financial and other resources.
